I bought this for a bit of nostalgia but sadly it does not work, it's yet another one of steams broken retro games. I did get it running and it didnt crash for over an hour but when i come to leave there is no access to the main menu so you can not save in the campaign mode.. So unless you plan on leaving it on for a week or more you can not finish the game. There are other bugs in the game that will make completing the campaign nigh on impossible.. This game is absolutely confusing. My first mission bring me to no where and no guide to complete the mission. In other word.... I'm LOST !!!. You'll need to run this in a Win98 virtual machine, keep in mind.The strategical layer and micro-managing is mind scratching, and the battle layer consists of quick, surgical, and precise dogfights, often lasting less than a minute, yet incredibly thrilling (albeit frustrating when there's an enemy with a cloaking device, of which are incredibly broken). once this game had it's flair. It was not to bad back in the days but this game has aged very badly.There is no need playing this old mediocre Wing Commander Rip-off... It just isn't very good...NOT RECOMMENDED!. Horrible flight simulator. I did not like this game.. I wish there was another game that did what X-com Interceptor did, a number of people didnt like this one of the series but i loved it most... unfortunatly it doesnt run well on new PC's, so i would caution anyone buying it to do it when theres a sale just incase.. A great game with some bugs... FFUUCCKK DA ALIENS I GOT MISSILES AND LASERS (LATER) Well... Shiittt. Least we have gatling lasers! :D
